Hade ett öppet Pipercross på gamle ES:en och ja, det gör en massa skillnad. Förutsatt att man plockar bort luftburken förstås och ersätter med ett konfilter. Den lät riktigt brummande vackert faktiskt.

Minns inte riktigt vad det kostade men runt tusenlappen gissar jag.
Jag hade en hemmabyggd avskärmning i plåt som numer dock är skrotad och håller på att ersättas av en ny i aluminium. Den här monteras då naturligtvis i min Turbo.

Det ger inte nåt brumbrum i en turbomotor men insugsljudet hörs väldigt tydligt...precis lagom.

Jag körde med ett BMC racing filter i min ES 88:a och det satte jag på luftmagds mättaren och la i "lådan" som va kvar av luft filtret utan locket på då...och det funkarde jätte bra i dom 2000milen jag körde bilen!..det köpte jag på Bilisten för 899kr plus tvättnings sats med tvätt medel i och sånt för ytterligare 180kr...

Hej Den största anledningen till att man ska avskärma filtret från motorrummet är att man inte vill ha in varm luft i motorn utan den ska ju vara så kall som möjligt för bästa brastanda så om man gör en avskärmning till filtret så måste du se till att det finns tillräckligt med friskluft in via en grov slang eller dyl. framifrån grillen. Det finns ju faktiskt öppna sportfilter som passar i orginalluftburken och som funkar jättebra.

Jag kör oxå med ett öppet JR filter som ligger i nedandelen av den gamla luftfilter burken. Funkar bra, härligt sugljud (jaja ni får associera till vad ni vill...) när man drar på gas, o är det inte en svag svag antydan till dump pys när man släpper gasen, jojo men. Lite lagom mysigt utan att vara vulgärt i mina öron
