FÖRSÄKRINGEN VILL SKROTA MIN 480!!!!

Snälla någon hjälp mig. Jag har en begagnadsförsäkring på min fina 480 årsmodell 93. Fungerar hur bra som helst men man hör ett vinande ljud vid körning. Volvon står hos verkstaden som har tittat på felet vilket har visat sig vara ett lager i växellådan som är dåligt.
Det som gäller är att byta växellådan, problemet är att Volvo inte hittar någon begagnad växellåda och vill sätta in en ny vilket IF inte går med på. Reparationen skulle kosta ca 19000 kr. De vill lösa in min bil istället och ge mig en viss summa för bilen. Vad fan ska jag göra???? Den här bilen FÅR inte skrotas!!!! Den är så jävla fin!!

Jopp, alla modeller är samma, bara du har "samma" låda. Det finns ett 10 tal olika lådor. Färddator är ett måste för då har man elektrisk givare till hastighetsmätaren.
Sedan är det utväxlingen, ex har turbolådorna sin utväxling.

Jag tittade på bildelsbasen, finns massor med lådor. Harrys i malmö, jönköpingsbildemontering är två stora med volvodelar.
