Fråga angående sportluftfilter & Sportavgassystem

Jag skulle vilja sätta på ett sportluftfilter & sportavgassystem på min 480ES, 88:A, men då är min fråga:

i min så sitter det en B18F en sk. sug-motor & har en kompis sagt till mig men själv är jag osäker på det och han har också sagt till mig att om man sätter på sådana grejer så kan motor förlora hästar istället för att få dom men jag är osäker även på denna punkt. själv tycker jag att det låter konstigt men jag vet inte.

om det nu funkar att sätta dit, vad kan man sätta dit för typ/storlek på sportluftfilter & sportavgassystem utan att motorn går sämre eller förlorar HK???

Om du monterar ett vanligt "köpesportsystem" så förlorar du ingen effekt. det som kan bli problem är när man bygger 3" hela vägen på en gammal 240 med förgasare de blir iofs inte bra på våra pärlor heller.

Ett öppet luftfilter kan ge problem med orolig tomgång o förlorad effekt om det sitter monterat så det suger varmluft från motorn. ska man ha öppet filter så bör man dra upp slangar o gärna bygga en box runt filtret för att få så mycket kall luft som möjligt till motorn.

Men ett vanligt insats sportfilter påverkar inget sådant. Den största vinsten med detta är att du kan tvätta det, gör det oftare än normala filterbyten så får motorn mycket luft o det ger mer effekt och lite lägre bränsleförbrukning.


Räkna inte med mer än ett par tre hästkrafter i vinst. Men ett i mina öron trevligare motorljud

Trevligast ljud får du absolut om du plockar bort original luftlåda o sätter ett öppet filter, men som boostofta säger så måste du vara noga med att skärma av från varmluft. Sen drar vissa slangar så att kalluften hittar in till filtret, för det är när du får en kallar luft som det verkligen gör nytta.

Jag hörde en bra förklaring på varför det kan vara fel med större avgasrör.
Ska du skjuta ut en ärta ur ett blåsrör så får det bättre kraft om det precis passar till ärtan, men om det är ett par cm större så får inte ärtan någon kraft. Avgaserna behöver det motståndet på samma sätt som ärtan.
